The City has appointed Consultants to undertake a study to evaluate the natural landscape features and visual amenity of the land adjacent to Mandurah Road in Singleton, Golden Bay and Secret Harbour.
When completed, the Visual Landscape Study will be used by the City in it’s consideration of regional and local planning initiatives and proposals.
As part of the Study, the City is keen to find out how the community views and experiences the landscape in this area and what it values most about it. In this regard, the draft Visual Landscape Study is to be advertised for public comment from the 4th February 2011 to the 4th March 2011.
A Community Drop-In Day is to be held at the Coastal Community Centre, Tangadee Road, Golden Bay on Saturday, 12th February 2011, between 10.30am and 3.00pm and the Consultant Team will be happy to answer questions and receive feedback on the draft Visual Landscape Study.
You can provide your feedback on the draft Visual Landscape Study by downloading and completing the Questionnaire or by completing a Questionnaire at the Community Drop-In Day.
1 Response to Visual Landscape Study- Mandurah Road
Apart from the visual pleasure we get from the dunes and sandhills, the planners haven’t mentioned the effect of noise pollution in our town from the main road if the dunes are degraded or removed.
Has anyone else thought of this?
